About CRAMP

OVERVIEW
The Coalition for Responsible Airport Management and Policy is a non-profit organization dedicated to protect and promote General Aviation in the Santa Clara and surrounding counties.

The Coalition also works closely with the California Pilots Association and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. If you do not already belong to these organizations please consider joining. They provide invaluable support for general aviation interests at the state and national level.

No one in the Coalition receives a salary for the work that they do. All contributions are used to promote General Aviation interests through public education and, if necessary, litigation.

HISTORY
The Coalition was formed in 1989 to respond to a county tax disguised as a user fee structure. Since then, the Coalition has been on the front lines in the threat to the continued existence of Reid Hillview Airport and the accommodation of General Aviation aircraft displaced by the expansion of San Jose International Airport. The Coalition is also closely monitoring the situation at Moffett Federal Airfield, the noise issues at San Carlos Airport, and development growth in proximity to Watsonville Airport.

ORGANIZATION
The Coalition is a California 501(c)3 non-profit corporation governed by a Board of Directors consisting of representatives from General Aviation organizations in the Silicon Valley area. This includes organizations such as:
