Join the SiliconValleyGA Email List!
SiliconValleyGA is a Yahoo Group created to allow pilots and other aviation advocates to discuss aviation issues. It is also the best way for the Coalition to contact the aviation community when something important comes up (such as to let you know about public meetings addressing the closure of Reid-Hillview Airport).

When you subscribe to the list you will receive the following welcome message explaining how to use the list:
SiliconValleyGA was created to allow members of the general aviation community to announce and discuss issues and events relevant to Northern California Silicon Valley aviation. Anyone who is on the list can send a message to all the list members by sending a message to SiliconValleyGA@yahoogroups.com
An archive of past messages is available on the Yahoo Groups web site.
Some of the things you can use the list for are:
- Keeping up-to-date on airport issues
- Announcing fly-ins, airport days, club meetings, etc.
- Discussing airplane or airport stuff.
- Posting things like headsets and shares of airplanes for sale. (Please, no commercial spam.)
By sending an email to SiliconValleyGA@yahoogroups.com, your message is delivered to everyone on the list. To avoid the possibility of transmitting a virus, please do not send any attachments.
Some simple rules and caveats:
- Be polite. No personal attacks.
- Sign your real name to your messages. If you don’t want to use your real name, we don’t want to hear what you have to say.
- In general, try to stay on aviation topics.
- Write your messages with the assumption that the entire world will read them. Even though this is a closed list, emails can be forwarded at the speed of light.
- The list has been set up so that a “Reply” to a message only goes to the person who wrote the original message. If you want your reply to go to the entire list, you must manually change the “To:” field in your reply to “SiliconValleyGA@yahoogroups.com”
